I read with great interest the book by Alberto CLO "It's easy to say nuclear" (an in-depth review soon, I promise).
As can be easily inferred from the interview interview with Corriere, Clò won the award for "nuclear atom more skeptical of Italy." Armed with his personal history, spending more time defending the safety and validity of the Central, the former minister demolishes the current national project using shared topic and making a prophecy that sounds like a curse: the central'll do it if you pay, in whole or in part, by public money. Enel and the government have always strongly denied this possibility, knowing that it would be a sort of "ultimate weapon" in the hands of opposites.

linked from Wikipedia to understand how this man embodies the icon of the "Treehugger" of 60-70 years. Ecologist, visionary, and hippy pacifist, Brand has now become nuclear. It is not inconsistent for a man deeply concerned about the fate of the ecosystem threatened by global warming, the energy from the atom, as he explains, is by far the lesser evil.
